"How To Create The Abundance You Desire And Deserve In Your Life"

Stone Soup
Author Unknown

Many years ago three soldiers, hungry and weary of battle,
came upon a small village. The villagers, suffering a
meager harvest and the many years of war, quickly hid what
little they had to eat and met the three at the village
square, wringing their hands and bemoaning the lack of
anything to eat.

The soldiers spoke quietly among themselves and the first
soldier then turned to the village elders. "Your tired
fields have left you nothing to share, so we will share
what little we have: the secret of how to make soup from
stones."

Naturally the villagers were intrigued and soon a fire was
put to the town's greatest kettle as the soldiers dropped
in three smooth stones. "Now this will be a fine soup",
said the second soldier; "but a pinch of salt and some
parsley would make it wonderful!" Up jumped a villager,
crying "What luck! I've just remembered where some's been
left!" And off she ran, returning with an apronful of
parsley and a turnip. As the kettle boiled on, the memory
of the village improved: soon barley, carrots, beef and
cream had found their way into the great pot, and a cask of
wine was rolled into the square as all sat down to feast.

They ate and danced and sang well into the night, refreshed
by the feast and their new-found friends. In the morning
the three soldiers awoke to find the entire village
standing before them. At their feet lay a satchel of the
village's best breads and cheese. "You have given us the
greatest of gifts: the secret of how to make soup from
stones", said an elder, "and we shall never forget." The
third soldier turned to the crowd, and said: "There is no
secret, but this is certain: it is only by sharing that we
may make a feast". And off the soldiers wandered, down the
road.

'Worry Beads or a Trouble Tree? Hmmmmm"

The Trouble Tree
By: Author Unknown

The carpenter I hired to help me restore an old farmhouse
had just finished a rough first day on the job. A flat tire
made him lose an hour of work, his electric saw quit, and
now his ancient pickup truck refused to start.

While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On
arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked
toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree,
touching tips of the branches with both hands.

When opening the door, he underwent an amazing
transformation. His tanned face was wreathed in smiles and
he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss.

Afterward he walked me to the car. We passed the tree and
my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I
had seen him do earlier.

Oh, that's my trouble tree," he replied. "I know I can't
help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure,
troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the
children. So I just hang them up on the tree every night
when I come home. Then in the morning I pick them up
again."

"Funny thing is," he smiled, "when I come out in the
morning to pick 'em up, there ain't nearly as many as I
remember hanging up the night before."

What can you come up with that will work for YOU?

" Do You Think We Can Get TOO Focussed?'

A marvelous lesson appeared for me just now as I was
exiting thru the garage, to come to this little playplace
they call an office.

As I opened the garage door, I startled a large moth,
which, upon spreading it's wings, displayed a bright red
"tail" hidden by the motley brown wings, more a "butterfly"
than a moth.

It flew immediately to its perceived escape, the
circle-topped window where it frantically tried to exit
thru the invisible wall of closed glass.

I raised the third-car garage door in hopes of aiding it's
escape. That caused it to fly higher and higher and become
entangled in a spider web. Fearful that it would remain
entangled in the web, I selected a long-handled broom to
assist him escaping the tangled threads.

At this, he returned to furiously pumping his wings and
banging into the glass, which was, in his perspective, the
pathway of escape, but remained his cage.

By simply turning his focus to one side, he would have
easily exited his prison. Rather, due to his intent on one
direction, he remained confined, captive.

"Can Cancer Be Caused By A COOKIE?"

Eating the Cookie
By: Rachel Naomi Remen

Another of my patients, a successful businessmen, tells me
that before his cancer he would become depressed unless
things went a certain way. Happiness was "having the
cookie." If you had the cookie, things were good. If you
didn't have the cookie, life wasn't worth a damn.
Unfortunately, the cookie kept changing. Some of the time
it was money, sometimes power, sometimes sex. At other
times, it was the new car, the biggest contract, the most
prestigious address. A year and a half after his diagnosis
of prostate cancer he sits shaking his head ruefully. "It's
like I stopped learning how to live after I was a kid. When
I give my son a cookie, he is happy. If I take the cookie
away or it breaks, he is unhappy. But he is two and a half
and I am forty-three. It's taken me this long to understand
that the cookie will never make me happy for long. The
minute you have the cookie it starts to crumble or you
start to worry about it crumbling or about someone trying
to take it away from you. You know, you have to give up a
lot of things to take care of the cookie, to keep it from
crumbling and be sure that no one takes it away from you.
You may not even get a chance to eat it because you are so
busy just trying not to lose it. Having the cookie is not
what life is about."

My patient laughs and says cancer has changed him. For the
first time he is happy. No matter if his business is doing
well or not, no matter if he wins or loses at golf. "Two
years ago, cancer asked ne, 'Okay, what's important? What
is really important?' Well, life is important. Life. Life
any way you can have it. Life with the cookie. Life without
the cookie. Happiness does not have anything to do with the
cookie, it has to do with being alive. Before, who made the
time?" He pauses thoughtfully. "Damn, I guess life is the
cookie."

Why Is it That Most People Fail?

Time to Learn
by: Author Unknown

A young but earnest Zen student approached his teacher, and
asked the Zen Master:

"If I work very hard and diligent how long will it take for
me to find Zen."

The Master thought about this, then replied, "Ten years."

The student then said, "But what if I work very, very hard
and really apply myself to learn fast -- How long then ?"

Replied the Master, "Well, twenty years."

"But, if I really, really work at it. How long then ?"
asked the student.

"Thirty years," replied the Master.

"But, I do not understand," said the disappointed student."
At each time that I say I will work harder, you say it will
take me longer. Why do you say that ?"

Replied the Master," When you have one eye on the goal, you
only have one eye on the path."

"Do You Hold true To Your Values, Dreams and Aspiration Even In The Face Of Adversity?"

Keep your dream
by: Author Unknown

I have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse ranch
in San Ysidro. He has let me use his house to put on
fund-raising events to raise money for youth at risk
programs.

The last time I was there he introduced me by saying, “I
want to tell you why I let Jack use my horse. It all goes
back to a story about a young man who was the son of an
itinerant horse trainer who would go from stable to stable,
race track to race track, farm to farm and ranch to ranch,
training horses. As a result, the boy’s high school career
was continually interrupted. When he was a senior, he was
asked to write a paper about what he wanted to be and do
when he grew up.

“That night he wrote a seven-page paper describing his goal
of someday owning a horse ranch. He wrote about his dream
in great detail and he even drew a diagram of a 200-acre
ranch, showing the location of all the buildings, the
stables and the track. Then he drew a detailed floor plan
for a 4,000-square-foot house that would sit on a 200-acre
dream ranch.

“He put a great deal of his heart into the project and the
next day he handed it in to his teacher. Two days later he
received his paper back. On the front page was a large
red F with a note that read, `See me after class.’

“The boy with the dream went to see the teacher after class
and asked, `Why did I receive an F?’

“The teacher said, `This is an unrealistic dream for a
young boy like you. You have no money. You come from an
itinerant family. You have no resources. Owning a horse
ranch requires a lot of money. You have to buy the land.
You have to pay for the original breeding stock and later
you’ll have to pay large stud fees. There’s no way you
could ever do it.’ Then the teacher added, `If you will
rewrite this paper with a more realistic goal, I will
reconsider your grade.’

“The boy went home and thought about it long and hard. He
asked his father what he should do. His father said, `Look,
son, you have to make up your own mind on this. However, I
think it is a very important decision for you.’ “Finally,
after sitting with it for a week, the boy turned in the
same paper, making no changes at all.

He stated, “You can keep the F and I’ll keep my dream.”

Monty then turned to the assembled group and said, “I tell
you this story because you are sitting in my
4,000-square-foot house in the middle of my 200-acre horse
ranch. I still have that school paper framed over the
fireplace.” He added, “The best part of the story is that
two summers ago that same schoolteacher brought 30 kids to
camp out on my ranch for a week.” When the teacher was
leaving, he said, “Look, Monty, I can tell you this now.
When I was your teacher, I was something of a dream
stealer. During those years I stole a lot of kids’ dreams.
Fortunately you had enough gumption not to give up on
yours.”

“Don’t let anyone steal your dreams. Follow your heart, no
matter what.”

Did YOU Know?

Did you know that it is difficult to get what you can’t give and that Giving comes first?

I have never ever met a truly wealth person that hasn't been a giver first!

When they give from the start [and that means where you are now] there appears a lot more room for the "REAL RICHES" to enter into your life!

It’s called flow.... A river must have flow or it becomes stagnant.

We as humans also achieve our Perfect flow when we Give..

LOVE - when we give it we are open to receive it
Money - when we give it we are ready to receive more
Time - when we give of our time we are investing our most precious resource as it's the only thing we cant get more of! So invest it wisely...

In you exercise program
in your relationships
in your children
in your self
in doing what you are passionate about
in dreaming yourself into a better life
in the services of others..
in continuous learning
in teaching others

What was it that you really wanted to do?

So if you are waiting for riches to come to you ... take riches to someone else first!

If you are waiting to be loved ... Love some one first!

If you are waiting for some one to help you ... Help someone else first!

Cheers....

"Can You Turn Adversity Into Advantage?"

Weakness or Strength?
by: Author Unknown

Sometimes your biggest weakness can become your biggest
strength. Take, for example, the story of one 10-year-old
boy who decided to study judo despite the fact that he
had lost his left arm in a devastating car accident.

The boy began lessons with an old Japanese judo master.
The boy was doing well, so he couldn't understand why,
after three months of training the master had taught him
only one move.

"Sensei," the boy finally said, "Shouldn't I be learning
more moves?"

"This is the only move you know, but this is the only move
you'll ever need to know," the sensei replied.

Not quite understanding, but believing in his teacher, the
boy kept training.

Several months later, the sensei took the boy to his first
tournament. Surprising himself, the boy easily won his
first two matches. The third match proved to be more
difficult, but after some time, his opponent became
impatient and charged; the boy deftly used his one move to
win the match. Still amazed by his success, the boy was now
in the finals.

This time, his opponent was bigger, stronger, and more
experienced. For a while, the boy appeared to be
overmatched. Concerned that the boy might get hurt, the
referee called a time-out. He was about to stop the match
when the sensei intervened.

"No," the sensei insisted, "Let him continue."

Soon after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical
mistake: he dropped his guard. Instantly, the boy used his
move to pin him. The boy had won the match and the
tournament. He was the champion.

On the way home, the boy and sensei reviewed every move in
each and every match. Then the boy summoned the courage to
ask what was really on his mind.

"Sensei, how did I win the tournament with only one move?"

"You won for two reasons," the sensei answered. "First,
you've almost mastered one of the most difficult throws in
all of judo. And second, the only known defense for that
move is for your opponent to grab your left arm."

The boy's biggest weakness had become his biggest strength.

"What Things Have You Witnessed That Appeared Bad And Then Perhaps Turned Out To Be NOT So Bad After All?'

Two Traveling Angels
By: Author Unknown

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the
home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused
to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room.
Instead, the angels were given a small space in the cold
basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the
older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When
the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied,
"Things aren't always what they seem."

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a
very poor but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After
sharing what little food they had, the couple let the
angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good
night's rest.

When the sun came up the next morning, the angels found
the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose
milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The
younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel,
"How could you have let this happen? The first man had
everything, yet you helped him," she accused. "The second
family had little but were willing to share everything, and
you let the cow die."

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel
replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I
noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall.
Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to
share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't
find it."

"Then, last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the
angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow
instead. Things aren't always what they seem."

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't
turn out the way they should. You just need to trust that
every outcome is always to your advantage. You just might
not know it until some time later...

"When Did You Last get What You Expected from Life without Knowing How Or Why?"

Is Packaging Important To You?
By: Author Unknown

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a
dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford
it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs
that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the
morning of his graduation, his father called him into his
private study. His father told him how proud he was to have
such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He
handed his son a beautifully wrapped gift box. Curious, but
somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and
found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's
name embossed in gold. Angrily, he raised his voice to his
father and said, "With all your money, you give me a
Bible?" He then stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed, and the young man was very successful
in business. He had a beautiful home and a wonderful
family, but realizing his father was very old, he thought
perhaps he should go to see him. He had not seen him since
that graduation day. Before he could make the arrangements,
he received a telegram telling him his father had passed
away and willed all of his possessions to his son. He
needed to come home immediately and take care of things.

When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and
regret filled his heart. He began to search through his
father's important papers and saw the still-new Bible, just
as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the
Bible and began to turn the pages. As he was reading, a car
key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with
the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car
he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation
and the words... "PAID IN FULL."

How many times do we miss blessings because they are not
packaged as we expected?

"If You Could Only Select One - Wealth, Success Love - Which Would You Select"

Wealth, Success and Love
By: Author Unknown

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with
long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not
recognize them.

Then she said, "I don't think I know you, but you must be
hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?" they asked.

"No," she said. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in," they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him
what had happened. So he said, "Go tell them I'm home, and
invite them in!"

The woman went out and invited the men in. "We do not go
into a house together," they replied.

"Why is that?" she wanted to know.

One of the old men explained. "His name is Wealth," he
said pointing to one of his friends, and pointing to
another one he said, "This man is Success, and I am Love."
Then he added, "Now, go and discuss with your husband which
one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her
husband was over-joyed. "How nice!" he said. "Since that's
the case, let us invite in Wealth. Let him come in and fill
our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "Why don't we invite Success?"

But their daughter was listening from the corner of the
room. She jumped in with her own suggestion. "Wouldn't it
be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with
love!"

The wife agreed. "Then let us heed our daughter's advice,"
said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love in to
be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the three old men, "Which one
of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest." Love got
up and started walking toward the house. Then the other two
also got up and followed him.

Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success, "I only
invited in Love, as you directed. Why are you all coming in?"

The old men replied together, "If you had invited only
Wealth or Success, the other two of us would have stayed.
However, since you invited Love... wherever he goes, we go
with him... To Find out how you can select the right spells in to your life go to:

Attitude Determines Attitude

Attitude Determines Attitude
By: Author Unknown

I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before
the clock strikes midnight. I have responsibilities to
fulfill today. I am important. My job is to choose what
kind of day I am going to have.

Today I can complain because the weather is rainy, or I
can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free.

Today I can feel sad that I don't have more money, or I
can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my
purchases wisely and guide me away from waste.

Today I can grumble about my health, or I can rejoice that
I am alive.

Today I can lament over all that my parents didn't give me
when I was growing up, or I can feel grateful that they
allowed me to be born.

Today I can cry because roses have thorns, or I can
celebrate that thorns have roses.

Today I can mourn my lack of friends, or I can excitedly
embark upon a quest to discover new relationships.

Today I can whine because I have to go to work, or I can
shout for joy because I have a job to do.

Today I can complain because I have to go to school, or
eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new tidbits of
knowledge.

Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do
housework, or I can feel honored because the Lord has
provided shelter for my mind, body and soul.

Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped. And
here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.

What today will be like is up to me. I get to choose what
kind of day I will have!

What Will your Day Look Like? What If You Had New Choices Everyday In Everyday because of The New innovations That are being created every day!

Are You Open Minded? Or Closed Minded?
Are You A Wealth Magnet? Or Do You Attract Garbage?
Are You seeking to change things in your life?

Perhaps this might do it for you ..

"Today More Than Ever We Need To Take this Lesson On Board And Become it!"

Red Marbles
by: Author Unknown

During the waning years of the depression in a small Idaho
community, I used to stop by Mr. Miller's roadside stand
for farm fresh produce as the season made it available.
Food and money were still extremely scarce and bartering
was used extensively.

One day Mr. Miller was bagging some early potatoes for me.
I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged
but clean, hungrily appraising a basket of freshly picked
green peas.

I paid for my potatoes but was also drawn to the display
of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and
new potatoes. Pondering the peas, I couldn't help
overhearing the conversation between Mr. Miller and the
ragged boy next to me.

"Hello Barry, how are you today?"

"H'lo, Mr. Miller. Fine, thank ya. Jus' admirin' them
peas... sure look good."

"They are good, Barry. How's your Ma?"

"Fine. Gittin' stronger alla' time."

"Good. Anything I can help you with?"

"No, Sir. Jus' admirin' them peas."

"Would you like to take some home?"

"No, Sir. Got nuthin' to pay for 'em with."

"Well, what have you to trade me for some of those peas?"

"All I got's my prize marble here."

"Is that right? Let me see it."

"Here 'tis. She's a dandy."

"I can see that. Hmmmmm, only thing is this one is blue
and I sort of go for red. Do you have a red one like this
at home?"

"Not zackley ... but almost."

"Tell you what. Take this sack of peas home with you and
next trip this way let me look at that red marble."

"Sure will. Thanks, Mr. Miller."

Mrs. Miller, who had been standing nearby, came over to
help me. With a smile she said, "There are two other boys
like him in our community, all three are in very poor
circumstances. Jim just loves to bargain with them for
peas, apples, tomatoes, or whatever. When they come back
with their red marbles, and they always do, he decides he
doesn't like red after all and he sends them home with a
bag of produce for a green marble or an orange one, perhaps."

I left the stand smiling to myself, impressed with this
man. A short time later I moved to Colorado but I never
forgot the story of this man, the boys, and their bartering.

Several years went by, each more rapid than the previous
one. Just recently I had the occasion to visit some old
friends in that Idaho community and while I was there I
learned that Mr. Miller had died. They were having his
viewing that evening and knowing my friends wanted to go, I
agreed to accompany them.

Upon arrival at the mortuary we fell into line to meet the
relatives of the deceased and to offer whatever words of
comfort we could. Ahead of us in line were three young men.
One was in an army uniform and the other two wore nice
haircuts, dark suits and white shirts... all very
professional looking.

They approached Mrs. Miller, standing composed and smiling
by her husband's casket. Each of the young men hugged her,
kissed her on the cheek, spoke briefly with her and moved
on to the casket. Her misty light blue eyes followed them
as, one by one, each young man stopped briefly and placed
his own warm hand over the cold pale hand in the casket.
Each left the mortuary awkwardly, wiping his eyes.

Our turn came to meet Mrs. Miller. I told her who I was
and mentioned the story she had told me about the marbles.
With her eyes glistening, she took my hand and led me to
the casket.

"Those three young men who just left were the boys I told
you about. They just told me how they appreciated the
things Jim "traded" them. Now, at last, when Jim could not
change his mind about color or size ... they came to pay
their debt."

"We've never had a great deal of the wealth of this
world," she confided, "but right now, Jim would consider
himself the richest man in Idaho."

With loving gentleness she lifted the lifeless fingers of
her deceased husband. Resting underneath were three
exquisitely shined red marbles.

"Do You Get Upset and Annoyed When You Hear People Say -Don't Worry About That It's Just A Little Thing, It Is Minor, Has No Consequence_WELL"

A Tiny Drop of Water
By: Bob Perks

A tiny drop of water washed away the land and buildings
fell, floating away with other people's dreams.

Roadways planned and formed by huge machines and men who
sweat and hammer the world into shape were pushed away with
little effort.

People ran and cars clogged highways in an effort to stay
ahead of the possible destruction that tiny drop of water
could cause.

"Wait!" you say. "It was much more than a tiny drop of
water. The streams overflowed and the rivers broke through
their banks, causing a wall of water to destroy those
things."

Yes, but it was made up of tiny drops of water. Raindrops,
which together wore a path right through my yard with
little effort, made up of one drop, then two, then
thousands, millions... all together they changed the world,
our world.

Can't you see the significance in that?

I want to change the world. I am tired, worn out from
weeping at the sight of still another death not just on the
field of battle laid out by warriors, but in the streets of
every city, in the fields of the impoverished, desolate
reaches of the world. They are dying in my country and
yours by bullet, by starvation, disease, arrogance,
stupidity and pride.

A tiny drop of water gave me hope.

I am but one drop in the sea of humanity, but like the
rain I can join together with others and wash away the
hatred and pain I anguish over. One drop, then two, then
thousands, millions... all together we can change the
world. Our world.I want to change my life. I am tired of
being in debt. I am worn out from trying to keep pace with
the world. I have tried my very best to get ahead and find
myself falling behind each step of the way.

A tiny drop of water gave me hope.

It fell upon the hillside just behind my house. One single
drop of water joined with others forming a stream.

Like trying one more time. Like doing one more thing. Like
pushing one more inch to reach the goal, the dream I long
to touch and make reality. All my little efforts make big
changes.

The little stream that ran down my driveway, never having
been there before, began as one single drop, until one drop
after another, trying again and again, washed the soil away
and moved the tiny pebble and eventually the rock.

I cannot push away the fear nor change my life overnight,
but if I dedicate myself to one single effort each and
every day, I will see the power of changing little things
to make a big difference.

A tiny drop of water gave me hope.

I am just one drop in the sea of humanity. But I have the
power to change my life and the sacred obligation to move
the world in the right direction.

How?

One drop, then two, then thousands, millions... all
together we change the world, our world.

A tiny drop of water gave me hope.

"What Do You Expect From Today?-Love? Happiness or What?"

Act As If
By: Author Unknown

There's magic in behaving the way we want to be, even
though we don't yet feel it. The behavior seems to lead the
way. The attitude, the mental state, follows.

Many days we may not get up with love in our hearts for
our family, our friends, our co-workers. We may, in fact,
want them to show their love for us first. But if we reach
out, give love unconditionally and focus on another's
needs, love will return tenfold and the act of loving them
will lift our own spirits.

We will know love; we will feel love for ourselves and for
many other people close to us. The attitude we cultivate,
whether one of love or selfishness, inferiority or
superiority, will determine how the events of our lives
affect us.

The principle is so simple. If we meet life with love,
with a smile, we'll find love and something to smile about.
My attitude will make this day what it becomes. Meeting it
head-on, with love, will assure me of a lovely day.

"How Do You Write Down Your Best And Worst Memories?"

Sand and Stone
By: Unknown Author

A story tells that two friends were walking through the
desert. During some point of the journey they had an
argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying
anything wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED
ME IN THE FACE."

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they
decided to take a bath. The one, who had been slapped, got
stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend
saved him. After the friend recovered from the near
drowning, he wrote on a stone: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED
MY LIFE."

The friend who had slapped and then saved his best friend
asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand. Now,
you write on a stone. Why?"

The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we
should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can
erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us
we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase
it."

Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your
blessings in stone.
